Teri Woo
Teri Woo PhD, ARNP, CPNP-PC, FAANP

Professor and Director of Nursing at Saint Martin's University

Teri Moser Woo is Professor and Director of Nursing at Saint Martin’s University in Lacey, Washington. She completed her BSN, MSN and Post Masters PNP Certificate at Oregon Health Sciences University, and her PhD in Nursing at University of Colorado Denver College of Nursing. She is an AANP Fellow, with expertise in NP prescribing, and lead author of Pharmacotherapuetics for Advanced Practice Nurse Prescribers 5th edition (2020). She served on the NAPNAP Board as a Member at Large from 2017 to 2021 and currently serves on the PNCB Pharmacology CE committee. Dr. Woo practices as Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at Mary Bridge Children's Hospital Urgent Care.

Katrina Nguyen
Katrina Nguyen MD

Katrina Nguyen, MD, is an award-winning, board-certified pediatric gastroenterologist, founder of a nonprofit to fight childhood obesity, and author of Live to Give. She was just 14 months old when her family escaped by boat from communist Vietnam in April 1975 after the fall of Saigon. Following the completion of her medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in 2002, Dr. Nguyen completed her residency in internal medicine-pediatrics at the University of Missouri in Columbia, followed by her fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. She worked at Augusta University in Georgia from August 2009 to May 2013 following completion of her fellowship. She is the founder of Faithful-2-Fitness, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to reverse the childhood obesity epidemic in America. She is a member of the Catholic Medical Association and the North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition. She is a clinical associate professor at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Rockford. She has shared her expertise via EWTN Global Catholic Network, YMCA podcast, and the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Elizabeth Ring
Elizabeth Ring RN, BSN, VA-BC

Elizabeth Ring, RN, BSN, VA-BC, is a Vascular Access-Board Certified registered nurse with 19 years’ experience. She has a background in emergency, interventional Radiology, Cardiac Cath Lab, Diagnostic Radiology, and Med Surg. She has been practicing as a vascular access nurse since 2018 with both adult and pediatric populations and is currently employed by both Baptist Health and Joe DiMaggio’s Childrens Hospital. Additionally, she does freelance writing health and nursing content with the purpose of educating, informing, and starting conversations.

Theresa Pye
Theresa Pye DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, CPEN

Theresa Pye, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, CPEN, works in pediatric emergency services at a large health care system as a clinical manager overseeing learning and development for the Emergency Department service line and the Emergency Nursing residency. She has extensive experience in emergency care, pediatrics, and primary care settings. For the past 20 years, she has served as adjunct faculty as a clinical instructor for undergraduate nursing students and post graduate nurse practitioner students.

Leah Lowe
Leah Lowe DNP, CPNP-AC, CCRN-P

Leah Lowe, DNP, APRN, CPNP-AC, is a pediatric nurse practitioner for The Children’s Lung, Asthma, and Sleep Specialists in Melbourne and Port St. Lucie, Florida. After a decade in adult nursing, she transitioned to pediatrics. In her years as a pediatric nurse, she worked in a variety of acute care settings, including the critical care step-down and pediatric emergency department. She is a graduate of University of Florida’s BSN-DNP acute care pediatric nurse practitioner program.

Stephen Jones MS, RN, PNP, ET

Stephen Jones, MS, RN, PNP, ET, is a fulltime Pediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist/Nurse Practitioner and Enterostomal Therapist, practicing at The Children’s Hospital @ Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY. In this multidimensional role, Stephen covers all inpatient pediatric units, including the PICU, as well as the pediatric Pulmonary & Cystic Fibrosis clinic. As an Enterostomal Therapist specializing in infants and children, Steve serves as a resource and consultant around the country. He has published articles in numerous nursing journals, authored chapters in several pediatric textbooks, and presented posters at numerous national conferences. Steve was instrumental in establishing the original pediatric transport team, pediatric critical care courses and pediatric core curriculum at his hospital, and initiation of the pediatric PICC program. In addition to his active and busy clinical practice, he is also the founder and principal of Pediatric Concepts, a company dedicated to providing quality educational programs for healthcare professionals. Stephen has focused his nursing career entirely in pediatrics, previously serving in various staff positions within the PICU and general pediatric units. He continues to be active in all arenas of pediatric nursing, as well as a member of his local state NP association. Stephen holds undergraduate degrees from Union College and Skidmore College, while his graduate degree is from the University of Rochester. He has been on and continues to participate via speakers bureaus for a variety of pharmaceutical companies and continues to lecture extensively to a diverse audience through North America, including healthcare professionals, as well as parents and families. Uchenna Lizmay Umeh MD

Uchenna Lizmay Umeh, MD (aka “Dr. Lulu”) is a queer Nigerian-born pediatrician, mom of a transgender daughter, former Lt. Col., Disabled US Air Force Veteran, TEDx Speaker, certified parent/life coach, corporate consultant and recently added “comedian” and “indie actress” to her echelon. She is the recipient of the 2021 San Antonio LGBT Chamber Youth Advocate of the Year Award, 2022 San Antonio Business Journal D.E.I award and was a 2023 finalist for the San Antonio NAWBO 2023 “Rising Star” Award and has been interviewed by Oprah Winfrey. Her mission is youth suicide prevention, with a special focus on LGBTQ+ youth, particularly, Black gender-diverse youth and their families. The CEO of Dr. Lulu’s PRIDE Corner, an all-inclusive gender-affirming coaching & Consulting practice, Dr. Lulu speaks about intersectionality and allyship for the LGBTQ+ community and is the chief host of “Moms for Trans Kids Podcast”. Her focus these days is on helping communities affirm Black transgender children one family at a time. She is the bestselling author of 7 books including "How to Teach Your Children About Racism”.

Tommy Martin MD

Tommy Martin, MD, is an internal medicine/pediatric specialist in Plymouth, Massachusetts and is affiliated with Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Plymouth and Boston Children’s Hospital. He received his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine and has been in practice for 10 years. Better known as @drtommymartin, he is active on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube.

Jena Quinn
Jena Quinn PharmD, BCPPS

Jena Quinn, PharmD, BCPPS, is an expert pediatric pharmacist. She is the owner of Perfecting Peds, a comprehensive pharmacology management program. She has 10 years of safe medication management and direct patient care experience in the pharmacy field with a wide-ranging background in developing, enhancing and managing clinical consulting programs. Dr. Quinn earned both her Doctoral degrees with high honors from the Ernest Mario school of Pharmacy. She is a nationally Board-Certified Pediatric Pharmacist.

Allison Anderson
Allison Anderson MS, CPNP-PC

Allison Anderson, MS, CPNP-PC, is a pediatric nurse practitioner with extensive experience in pediatric allergy care. She is the senior manager of clinical operations Latitude Food Allergy Care, in San Francisco, where she treats children with food allergies. In 2020, she was identified as a rising nurse leader by UCSF School of Nursing.

Linda Gavrielov
Linda Gavrielov MS, RDN, LD, CCTD

Linda Gavrielov, MS, RDN, LD, CCTD, is a registered dietitian and an ACE-Certified Personal Trainer. Linda has been a dietician since 2009. Her passion for working with kidney transplant recipients began in 2011 when she worked for a kidney transplant center in NYC. Since 2017, her focus has been to provide nutritional care to pediatric patients with kidney and heart disease. She is currently the pediatric renal transplant and pediatric heart failure dietician at a hospital in central Florida.

Maria Broadstreet
Maria Broadstreet RN, MSN, APN

Maria Broadstreet, RN, MSN, APN, has over 26 years of nursing experience and treats critically ill patients as a nurse practitioner at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital (formerly Children’s Memorial Hospital) in Chicago. She came into this role from primary care where she diagnosed and treated kids at the beginning stages of their illness. Throughout her career in pediatrics, Maria has been able to expand her love of teaching, sharing her expertise with an experienced healthcare audience across the country and through clinical instruction with both graduate and undergraduate nursing students.
